Product Care

Store in a cool, dry place - shelf life is 12 months, after which they will start to naturally break down.

Avoid contact with hot liquids, grease or oil, and wool or animal products where possible. If the liner is regularly in contact with food waste - especially meat - change it more frequently, as decomposing food accelerates the breakdown of the liner. Keeping your bin in a cool, dry spot will help prolong the liner's life.

FAQs

Are these genuinely strong enough for everyday use?
Yes - they're reinforced specifically to address the main complaint about compostable liners. 93% of Seep's customers rate them as equal to or better than conventional plastic liners.

What size should I choose?
10L suits small bathroom or desk bins. 30L is a good fit for a standard kitchen pedal bin. 50L works for larger kitchen bins or recycling bags.

Can I put these in my home compost?
Yes - they're certified to TUV Home Compost standard, which means they're tested to break down in a home compost environment, not just industrial composting facilities.

Why do they have a 12-month shelf life?
Because they're made from natural materials that will eventually break down - that's the point. Store them in a cool, dry place and use within 12 months of purchase for best performance.
