Lightly dampen the pad before use to minimise staining, and wash while still wet after use for best results.
Hand wash with soap and warm water, or machine wash. Use a mesh laundry bag to keep them together in the machine.
Expect 10-15% shrinkage after the first wash - this is normal for this fabric.
