FAQs
Are reusable stainless steel straws safe for hot drinks?
Yes, stainless steel conducts heat so the straw itself will warm up with the drink - just be mindful with very hot liquids like tea or coffee. For cold drinks, smoothies and juices they're ideal.
Are stainless steel straws safe for children to use?
They're robust and non-toxic, but the rigid material means they're best suited to older children who can use them carefully. For younger children, a softer silicone straw may be a better fit.
Can stainless steel straws go in the dishwasher?
Yes - top rack is fine. The cleaning brush should be hand washed.
What's the difference between the smoothie straw and the standard straw?
The smoothie straw is straight with a wider 8mm diameter - better for thick drinks like smoothies or milkshakes. The standard bent straw has a 6mm diameter and suits everyday cold drinks.
How long do stainless steel straws last?
Indefinitely with normal care. Stainless steel doesn't degrade, rust or absorb flavours, so a good set should last years with no issues.
