Wylde Moon - Session Pale Ale 4.6% | Wylde Sky

Juicy, crisp and hop-forward. Citra and Simcoe deliver bold grapefruit, citrus and tropical fruit at a very sessionable 4.6%.

Wylde Moon started life as a collaboration with The Blue Moon pub in Cambridge and ended up becoming one of Wylde Sky's most popular pours. It's not hard to see why. Citra and Simcoe are two of the most reliably delicious hop varieties around, and on a base of Extra Pale Ale malt and Cara Gold they do exactly what you'd want them to do - big citrus aroma, juicy grapefruit on the palate, clean and bright all the way through.

Unfiltered, unfined and unpasteurised, brewed just down the road in Linton, Cambridgeshire.

FAQs

How does this compare to the American Pale Ale?
Both are session pales but Wylde Moon is more citrus and grapefruit-forward with just two hops doing the work. The American Pale uses four hops for a broader berry and floral character. Wylde Moon is sharper and juicier; the American Pale is slightly more rounded.

Is it hazy?
It has a natural haze from being unfiltered and unfined, but it's not a full hazy pale in the NEIPA sense. Think bright and juicy rather than thick and murky.

What does unfiltered and unfined mean?
Nothing has been removed after fermentation, so you get the full flavour and a natural haze. It also makes it suitable for vegans, as many beers use animal-derived finings to clarify.
