We love our set of compostable sponge cloths. We use them all around the house for everyday cleaning, including our washing up! When the eco sponges are at the end of their life (they're very hardy so this could be a long time!), simply home compost them.

How to wash the eco sponge cloths?

These sponge cloths are machine washable or top-shelf dishwasher washable!

The cloths can be washed at 30-60c and line dried.

Why is it eco-friendly?

Traditional yellow and green sponges are made from synthetic materials and break down releasing micro-plastics into the environment.

Useful cloths

We use them around the kitchen and they’re perfect for wiping worktops, etc. I like the fact that they’re so easy to wash and compostable when they reach the end of their life. Will definitely be buying some more.

Very practical sponges

These are a great set of sponges. Funny texture when dry but super soft and easy to use once wet. They absorb nicely, ring out well and are a great size for cleaning and washing up. I brought them to use along side the multi purpose cloths and find them great for cleaning up really messy things like my daughters high chair as you can rinse them off well without them being left all stained. Just as good if not better than normal sponges. I love the different colours as I can have different colours for different jobs. Have one for the kitchen, one in each bathroom, one for cleaning my pond liner, one for general cleaning and gave one to my mum to try. I can see them being quite versatile 🙂
