Fill the salt reservoir in the base of your dishwasher, following your machine manufacturer's instructions. Top up when the low-salt indicator shows. Do not use table salt - it can damage the softening unit.
Keep dry, in a sealed container, out of direct sunlight. Store out of reach of children and pets.
Our quantity dropdown lets you order the exact amount your container needs, rather than being locked into fixed sizes. Options run from 50g up to 1kg - combine as many as you need to match your container.
Example: for 950g, add 1x 500g + 1x 400g + 1x 50g.
Topping up a part-full container? Either estimate what you need and order that, or order a full amount and leave a note at checkout asking us to refund any unused amount. We weigh and refill, then refund the difference.
Note: we measure refills by weight, so there may be slight variation between products.
Order through the website as normal, or message us by WhatsApp or email the day before (or earlier than) your usual delivery date.
For example: "Hi Dan, please can I book in for refills tomorrow? I need dishwasher salt, please refill my container fully. I will leave it on the doorstep, thanks!"
We book you in, refill your container, and send an email invoice for the amount refilled.

Can I use this in any dishwasher?
It suits domestic dishwashers with a built-in water softener and salt reservoir. Always follow your machine manufacturer's instructions.
Is dishwasher salt the same as table salt?
No. Dishwasher salt is a coarser, high-purity grade designed for the softening unit. Table salt contains additives that can damage your machine, so do not substitute it.
How much do I need?
It depends on your machine and local water hardness. Refill the reservoir fully and top up whenever the low-salt light comes on.
