Why copper rather than steel?
Copper is naturally antibacterial and non-ferrous, meaning it won't rust - a common problem with steel scourers left wet. It's also endlessly recyclable, unlike most synthetic scourers which can't be recycled at all.

What can't I use them on?
Avoid non-stick pans, enamel cookware and any delicate surfaces - the abrasive action can scratch or damage them. For lighter cleaning, use alongside the Seep Compostable Sponge.

How do I recycle them at end of life?
Copper is a widely recycled metal - check your local recycling facilities. Most scrap metal recyclers will accept copper scourers.
