Organic Reusable Tea Bag

A reusable organic cotton tea bag for loose-leaf tea - fill it yourself, enjoy a proper brew, then rinse and use again.

Most standard tea bags contain plastic - either in the bag itself or the heat-seal that holds them together. This reusable cotton bag cuts that out entirely. Fill it with your favourite loose-leaf tea, use the long unbleached cotton string to steep in a mug or teapot, then rinse or wash and repeat.

Product Care

After each use: Turn the bag inside out and compost the spent leaves. Soak briefly in cold water to prevent staining, then hand wash with a little washing up liquid, rinse and line dry.

Deeper clean: Soak for a few hours in one part vinegar to two parts water (apple cider or white vinegar works well).

With milk: Hand wash after every use. Without milk: Rinse and reuse a couple of times in the same day, then hand wash.

What size teapot or mug does this fit?
At 9 x 9cm the bag is generous enough for a good amount of loose leaf and the string is long enough to reach over the rim of most mugs and teapots.

How do I stop it staining?
A cold water soak straight after use makes a real difference - don't leave wet tea leaves sitting in the bag. For any build-up, the vinegar soak in the product care section above works well.
