Microfibre cloths are made from plastic, and every wash releases tiny plastic fibres into the water system. These Seep bamboo cloths are the straightforward alternative - made from 100% bamboo fibre, they're just as absorbent and durable, without any of the microplastic guilt.

Product Care

Wash at 30°C, reshape while damp and dry naturally. Avoid bleach and tumble drying. Minor shrinkage may occur due to the natural bamboo fibre.

Microfibre cloths are made from polyester and nylon - essentially plastic. Every time they're washed, they shed tiny plastic fibres that pass through water treatment systems and end up in rivers and oceans. Bamboo cloths are made from natural fibres and don't shed microplastics.

How long do the Seep bamboo cloths last?
With proper care they should last many months of regular use. Washing at 30°C and air drying (rather than tumble drying) will extend their life significantly.

Are they suitable for all surfaces?
Yes - they're soft enough for most household surfaces including kitchen worktops, tiles, glass and appliances. They work well damp or dry.

Are the cloths home compostable at end of life?
Because they're made from natural bamboo fibre with no synthetic content, they can be composted at the end of their life rather than going to landfill.
