FAQs

Where is it made?
Handmade in Maldon, Essex, by TEMPRD. Around an hour from the shop, which is about as local as chocolate gets.

Is the cocoa responsibly sourced?
Yes. TEMPRD buy from Rainforest Alliance certified farms.

How does it compare to the other dark bars?
This one is 70% cocoa where the rest of the dark range is 55%, so it is noticeably less sweet and more bitter.

Is it very salty?
No. The salt is 0.8% of the bar, enough to lift the chocolate and give an occasional crunch.

Is the packaging recyclable?
Yes. It is cardboard and paper with no single-use plastic.
