There are multiple uses for citric acid as a cleaner around the home. Add equal parts citric acid and warm water to a spray bottle for a multipurpose cleaner.
Can you use citric acid to tackle limescale?
Descaling with citric acid is one of our favourite uses for it! To descale a kettle; half fill your kettle and bring to a boil, carefully add two tablespoons of citric acid (be careful of the hot steam) and then leave for the water to cool. Rinse a few times and your kettle will be as good as new!

Yes! Citric acid is a non-toxic, natural weak acidic product. It's safe to use around the home and is regularly used in food as a preservative.
