How do you use citric acid as a cleaner?

There are multiple uses for citric acid as a cleaner around the home. Add 1tbsp of citric acid per 500ml of warm water to a spray bottle for a multipurpose cleaner.

Can you use citric acid to tackle limescale?

Descaling with citric acid is one of our favourite uses for it! To descale a kettle; half fill your kettle and bring to a boil, carefully add two tablespoons of citric acid (be careful of the hot steam) and then leave for the water to cool. Rinse a few times and your kettle will be as good as new!
