The Negroni made by accident. Botanical bitter liqueur and sweet vermouth mixed with Prosecco instead of gin.
Sbagliato means mistaken - a barman at Bar Basso in Milan reached for the Prosecco rather than the gin and improved the drink in the process. It is lighter and brighter than a real Negroni without losing the bitterness, and at 6% it is a fraction of the strength. Blood orange, cloves, gentian root and wild violet in the mix.
No added flavourings or colours - the fruit is fresh, the botanicals are real and the sweetness comes from natural honey. Serve it very cold, over ice, in a wine glass rather than straight from the can.
Carbonated water, orange, dry clove, gentian, violet flowers, Italian Prosecco, bitter liqueur, sweet vermouth, natural honey.
Contains sulphites.
How much is in a can?
187ml, which is a single serve - the same measure as a small bottle of Prosecco. Pour it over a full glass of ice and it stretches nicely.
Do I need to add anything?
No. It is pre-mixed and ready to drink. Ice and a slice is as far as it needs to go.
Which one should I start with?
Aperitivo Spritz if you like Aperol, Hugo if you want floral and gentle, Peach Bellini for sweet, Negroni Sbagliato for bitter, Gin & Lemon for sour.
Aperitivo Club build their spritzes from fresh fruit, wild botanicals and natural honey rather than flavourings and extracts. Five cocktails in the range, all 6% and all in 187ml cans - one can is one properly made drink.
