A short coffee glass hand-crafted from a wine bottle collected and upcycled in Suffolk.
NOWA began in 2018 when founder Luke started collecting glass waste from homes around Suffolk, because the local council was not. Struck by how good some of the bottles were, he taught himself to turn them into drinking glasses. His small team still hand-crafts every one in the same county the bottles come from.
Each glass starts life as a different bottle, so expect very slight imperfections and variations in the plugs and patterns on the base. That is part of the character, not a fault.
These glasses are not designed to withstand hot temperatures, so do not pour in boiling water - it is likely to crack them.
Can I use it for hot drinks?
Warm drinks are fine, like a milky latte. Boiling water is likely to crack recycled bottle glass, so let it cool a little first.
Will mine look exactly like the photo?
Not quite. Every glass is made from a different bottle, so expect slight imperfections and different markings on the base.
Where is it made?
Hand-crafted by NOWA in Suffolk, from bottles collected locally.
