The Ocean Bottle is a fantastic, high quality reusable bottle made from stainless steel and upcycled ocean-bound plastic.

It will keep hot drinks hot for up to 9 hours and cold drinks cold for up to 18 hours.

How Ocean Bottle works

Ocean Bottle funds the collection of 11.4kg of plastics for every bottle sold.

They do this with their partners Plastic Bank which works in the areas most needed around the world.

22 million kgs of plastic enters our ocean every day. And it's increasing.Yet up to 80% of the world's ocean plastic comes from a lack of waste management infrastructure in coastal communities around the world.

It's in these areas Ocean Bottle works with Plastic Bank to collect ocean-bound plastic.

Over 4300 plastic collectors live and work in places where plastic pollution is worst, they do the critical work to collect, sort and recycle much of the world’s waste. Some collectors work full time and for others, it's a side hustle to earn extra income for the family.

As of 31/01/21, Ocean Bottle has collected 1,139,949kg of ocean-bound plastic.

There is a NFC enabled smart chip in the upcycled ocean-plastic in the base of the bottle. Ocean Bottle are busy working on partnerships with refill stations and cafes to be able to donate to Ocean Bottle for free when you refill! We'll keep you posted on this.
