This is a refill - use your own clean, dry container and we will fill it. Please note this is a powder, not a liquid.

A plastic-free oxygen bleach that lifts stains, brightens whites and cleans around the home without chlorine. Also known as sodium percarbonate, it is activated by water to release oxygen, and it is safe for septic tanks and kinder to waterways. A staple in natural cleaning recipes and a favourite of eco-cleaners like Nancy Birtwhistle.

How To Use

Natural Bleach is activated by warm water to release oxygen. Do not use with boiling water.

• Brighten laundry: add 1-2 tbsp per load
• Soak stained items: dissolve 2-4 tbsp in hot water and soak for a few hours
• Toilets: add 1-2 tbsp to the bowl, leave overnight, then scrub and flush
• Surfaces, grout, tiles and sinks: dissolve 1 tbsp in warm water and apply

Patch test coloured fabrics first.

Storage

Keep dry, in a sealed container, out of direct sunlight. Store out of reach of children and pets.

How To Order The Right Amount

Our quantity dropdown lets you order the exact amount your container needs, rather than being locked into fixed sizes. Options run from 50g up to 1kg - combine as many as you need to match your container.

Example: for 950g, add 1x 500g + 1x 400g + 1x 50g.

Topping up a part-full container? Either estimate what you need and order that, or order a full amount and leave a note at checkout asking us to refund any unused amount. We weigh and refill, then refund the difference.

Note: we measure refills by weight, so there may be slight variation between products.

How To Place Your Order

Order through the website as normal, or message us by WhatsApp or email the day before (or earlier than) your usual delivery date.

For example: "Hi Dan, please can I book in for refills tomorrow? I need natural bleach, please refill my container fully. I will leave it on the doorstep, thanks!"

We book you in, refill your container, and send an email invoice for the amount refilled.

Delivery Information

Local delivery only - this product is not available for nationwide shipping.

Delivery is £1.50 per order for standard areas, or £3 per order for extended radius areas (minimum order £15). Check our Refill Delivery Information page for your postcode, delivery day and rate.

Leave your clean, dry container outside in a safe place on your delivery day and we will refill and return it.

FAQs

What is Natural Bleach?
It is sodium percarbonate - a combination of sodium carbonate (soda ash) and hydrogen peroxide. When it dissolves in water it breaks down into water, oxygen and soda ash, leaving no toxic residue behind.

Is it the same as chlorine bleach?
No. It is chlorine-free and non-toxic, whitening and cleaning using oxygen rather than harsh chemicals - much safer for people, pets and the environment.

Is it septic tank safe?
Yes. It is safe for septic tanks and greywater systems and will not harm aquatic life.

Can I use it on colours?
Yes, but patch test first. It is gentler than chlorine bleach, though it may lighten some fabrics over time.
