Aerosol dry shampoo is one of the worst offenders in the bathroom: a steel can that can't be refilled, propellant gases, and a long ingredient list to go with it. Scrubber's version is powder in a cardboard tube you shake onto your roots, and it's made of arrowroot powder, bentonite clay and fragrance. That's the lot.

Ylang & Rose is warm and floral: ylang ylang's almost fruity sweetness against the deeper note of rose, with jasmine and vanilla underneath. It's noticeable without following you round the room.
Mango & Coconut smells like summer, tropical and fruity, though Scrubber have kept it restrained enough that you don't end up smelling like a piña colada.
Shake a small amount onto your roots, then massage it in with your fingers until it disappears. Some people prefer to brush it through instead. Add more if you need it, but start light.
Use within 24 months of purchase. Don't use on irritated or broken skin, and stop if any irritation occurs.
What's the difference between the shaker and the refill?
Nothing but the packaging. The shaker is the cardboard tube you shake from. The refill is the same powder in a paper bag, for topping up a shaker you already own. Buy the shaker first, then refills from then on.
Will it leave a white cast?
It's a pale powder, so it can show on darker hair if you use too much or don't work it in. The fix is to use less than feels necessary and massage it properly into the roots until it's invisible.
Why powder instead of a spray?
Aerosols need propellant and a steel can that can't be refilled. A shaker gives you the same job with cardboard and paper, and you can see exactly how much you're using.
How long does one last?
Scrubber say one to three months depending on how heavily you use it, and that most of their regular customers get around six weeks from a tube.
