Description - Shade™ All-Natural Sunscreen
Please read all the following information before buying, thank you. For more information on natural sunscreens please see this blog post by Shade.
Shade Sunscreen is made in the UK with just four simple ingredients! Shade allows you to move away from the plastic-bottled, chemical sun creams to a natural, non-toxic sunscreen.
The four ingredients have been carefully chosen to moisturise and protect the skin from the broadest spectrum of damaging UVA and UVB rays.
SPF25 prevents 96 out of 100 photons from reaching your skin and means (with proper application) it will take up to 25 times longer to burn than if you were to not use any protection at all in the same environmental conditions.
Green Pear Eco and Shade strongly recommend people to avoid sun exposure during the hours of 11am and 3pm when the sun is at its strongest.
Shade is not a sunblock and is not waterproof - please do not use it as though it is!
It should be applied generously to gain maximum SPF25 benefit and reapplied regularly and after swimming, sweating and towelling.
Shade is thicker than the average sunscreen lotion. Do not shy away from the white chalk-like appearance - this is the active ingredient zinc oxide layer!

Ingredients & Directions
Organic unrefined shea butter, organic virgin coconut oil, cosmetic grade non-nano zinc oxide 18%, premium pure unrefined beeswax
Apply generously! Shade works immediately. Reapply regularly at least every 2-3 hours or after exposure to water or after sweating.
Reapplying sunscreen does not prolong your sun exposure time past the original 25 times! Reapplying simply ensures coverage for the remaining time within that original timeframe.
If you feel like you are burning, you should cover your skin.
