Fractured Light - Hazy Pale Ale 4.8% | Burnt Mill
- In stock, ready to ship
Silky and tropical, with a distinctive white grape finish. A hazy pale from a Suffolk farm brewery, not far from us at all.
Soft and pillowy from the oat base, then three hops take over. Mosaic brings tropical fruit and berry depth, Eclipse adds dank fruitiness, and Nelson Sauvin closes it out with its signature white grape and gooseberry character.
Complex without being difficult. Unfiltered and vegan.
Water, barley malt, oats, hops, yeast.
What does Nelson Sauvin taste like?
It's a New Zealand hop with a vinous character - think crushed white grape and gooseberry rather than the citrus or pine you'd expect from most hops. It's what gives Fractured Light its distinctive finish.
Is it hazy?
Soft and natural haze from being unfiltered, but not murky. Pillowy and smooth rather than thick and opaque.
Is it bitter?
Low bitterness - all about aroma, fruit and mouthfeel. The dry finish keeps it light without any sharpness.
