Pale ale and ginger beer is the original shandy pairing, and it still works because the malt gives the ginger something to push against. This is the warmest and spiciest of the four, with a dry, gingery finish rather than a sweet one.
Every Shandy Shack sits under 2.8% ABV, which works out at no more than one unit per 330ml can. That is the whole point of the brand: a drink you can have two of on a weeknight without writing off the next morning.

Is this a soft drink?
No. At 2.5% ABV it is an alcoholic drink and it is sold as one - it just contains about a third of the alcohol of a normal beer.
How is a beer gluten-free if it is made from barley?
The gluten is broken down during brewing and the finished beer is lab-tested to confirm it sits under 20ppm, the legal threshold for a gluten-free claim. Coeliac drinkers are generally fine with it, but if you react to very low levels it is worth knowing the beer starts from barley.
Which one should I start with?
Elderflower if you want light and floral, Raspberry if you want fruity, IPA if you actually like hops, and Ginger Beer Shandy if you want a bit of heat.
