Giffords Hall Vineyard is a family-run vineyard nestled in the Upper Stour Valley in West Suffolk, producing award-winning English wines from a site with a genuinely special sense of place.

Planted on an ancient glacial riverbed near Long Melford, their unique sandy and clay soils produce grapes with exceptional natural sugars and acids - ideal for the crisp, aromatic still wines and elegant sparkling wines they're best known for.

With gold medals from the Independent English Wine Awards and accolades from Decanter and Wine GB, this is a Suffolk vineyard quietly making a very loud case for English wine.

Giffords Hall Vineyard was established near Hartest in West Suffolk, where the first vines were planted in 1986 - making it one of the older established vineyards in the East of England.

The vineyard grows a range of varieties including Bacchus, Madeleine Angevine, Rondo, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, producing both still and sparkling wines entirely from their single estate in the heart of the Suffolk countryside.

Committed to sustainable viticulture through the Sustainable Wines of Great Britain initiative, Giffords Hall also supports a flock of rare breed sheep on the property and encourages indigenous flora and fauna throughout the vineyard.

We stock a selection of Giffords Hall wines online and in our shop in Clare, Suffolk. For more English wine from independent regional producers, explore our ranges from Tuffon Hall, Ark Wines, and Saffron Grange.
