Mulled Plum Jam from Fruits of the Forage is made with heritage plum varieties gathered from old and abandoned orchards, simmered with mulled red wine, orange juice and hogweed seed. The result is a deep claret-coloured jam with warming spice, gentle tartness and lots of real fruit texture.

It’s just as happy on toast as it is dolloped onto porridge, spooned over yogurt or paired with cheese and cold cuts on a festive board.
