Pear Post Gift Box

A proper coffee liqueur, a hand-cut glass to pour it into, and a bar of espresso chocolate on the side.

Made for the person whose second coffee of the day is usually a martini. At the heart of it is a 50cl coffee liqueur, slow-infused with arabica beans at a distillery a few miles from our shop in Clare.

Pour it over ice into a recycled glass cut by hand from a Suffolk wine bottle, then break off a square of dark chocolate studded with espresso and walnut. Or shake it into an espresso martini, if the evening calls for one.

Everything is packed with care and delivered in our signature Pear Post gift box, beautifully presented and ready to open the moment it arrives. For the coffee lover who would rather have theirs after dinner than before breakfast.

Dark chocolate [91%]: cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin (E322), natural vanilla flavouring; walnuts [9%]; natural espresso flavouring. Contains soya and walnuts. Made in a kitchen that also handles milk, peanuts and other nuts.

Recycled Coffee Glass - NOWA

Upcycled wine bottle glass. Hand wash and dry with a soft cloth. Not designed for boiling water, so avoid sudden temperature changes.

FAQs ▾

How do I make an espresso martini with it?

Shake roughly equal parts coffee liqueur, vodka and fresh espresso hard with plenty of ice, then strain into a glass. No vodka in the house? The liqueur over ice with a shot of espresso is very nearly as good.

Can the glass take hot drinks?

Warm drinks like a milky latte are fine. Recycled bottle glass can crack with boiling water, so let anything fresh off the boil cool a little first, and hand wash it.

How big is the bottle?

The liqueur is a 50cl bottle at 25% ABV. This box contains alcohol and is for over-18s only.
