White Ember - Hazy IPA 6% | Burnt Mill
- Low stock - 6 items left
Lush and fruit-forward, with peach, apricot and red berries. A step up from their pale ales in strength and richness.
Three Australian hops - Vic Secret, Galaxy and Eclipse - do the work here, layering soft stone fruits and sweet berry notes over a light, smooth malt base. The result is opulent but not heavy. Moreish from the first sip.
Unfiltered and vegan, brewed on a farm in Suffolk.
Water, barley malt, oats, hops, yeast.
How does this compare to Fractured Light?
White Ember is bigger, richer and more fruit-forward. Fractured Light is a hazy pale at 4.8% with a more citrus and tropical character. White Ember steps up to IPA strength with a softer, stone-fruit focus.
Is it bitter?
Low bitterness for a 6% IPA. The Australian hops keep it fruity and smooth rather than sharp.
Is it heavy?
Not really - the malt base is kept light so it stays drinkable despite the strength.
