Most alcohol-free ciders give themselves away immediately - too sweet, too thin, more apple squash than cider. Sheppy's built this one on the same blend that goes into their full-strength range, so the bittersweet apple character survives the process. Dry-ish finish, fine bubbles, nothing cloying.

Good for a designated driver who still wants something to hold, and good in the fridge for a school night.

FAQs

Is 0.5% actually alcohol-free?
Under UK labelling rules anything at or below 0.5% ABV can be sold as alcohol-free. For context, a ripe banana or a glass of fresh orange juice can sit in a similar range. It is not sold under age restriction, but if you are avoiding alcohol entirely for medical or religious reasons it is worth knowing the number.

Why does cider always contain sulphites?
Sulphur dioxide is an antioxidant that keeps the cider stable and fresh in the bottle. Almost every commercial cider uses it, Sheppy's included, at levels well inside the legal limits.

How does it compare to the Alcohol Free Raspberry?
This is the straight apple version - drier and more traditional. The raspberry is softer and fruitier if you want something sweeter.
