Pinches Provisions Salad Seasoning 45g

A zesty, seedy, herby blend to scatter over salads or stir into dressings. Handmade in small batches in Suffolk.

Flaxseed and pumpkin seeds give it crunch, mint, parsley, chives and tarragon bring the fresh herby side, and dried lemon peel with a little citric acid gives it a bright, zesty edge. Mustard seeds add a gentle warmth that pulls it all together.

It is not only for leaves. Try it over avocado on toast, grain bowls, roast veg or a plate of new potatoes.

  • 45g tin, made by hand in Suffolk
  • No fillers, bulking agents or anti-caking agents
  • No gluten-containing ingredients
  • Suitable for vegans

How To Use

As a topper: sprinkle a spoonful over a salad just before serving so the seeds stay crunchy.

In a dressing: stir a teaspoon or two into olive oil with lemon juice or vinegar, then leave it for a few minutes so the herbs soften and the flavour comes through.

Store the tin in a cool dry place with the lid on.

Ingredients

Milled and whole flaxseed, dried mint, parsley, chives, milled and whole mustard seeds, dried lemon peel, milled and whole pumpkin seeds, dried tarragon, dried sage, black peppercorns, sea salt, sugar, citric acid.

Allergens

All Pinches products are made in a home kitchen that handles known allergens, so this is not suitable for anyone with an allergy to celery, cereals containing gluten (including wheat, barley and oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, sulphur dioxide and sulphites or tree nuts.

FAQs

Is it vegan?
Yes. Everything in the tin is plant based.

Is it spicy?
No. The mustard seeds and black pepper add warmth, but the main flavours are fresh herbs and lemon.

How much is in the tin?
45g. The seeds and herbs are light, so that goes a lot further than it sounds.

How long does it keep?
Pinches give it an 18 month best before date from production, and the date is on the tin. Keep it cool and dry with the lid on.
