What's the difference between these and the Bamboo Cotton Buds?
Both are plastic-free and biodegradable - the main difference is the stem material. These use an FSC-certified recycled paper stem with organic Fairtrade cotton; the Bamboo Cotton Buds use a bamboo stem. These also carry Fairtrade and GOTS organic certification, which the bamboo version doesn't.

Are cotton buds safe to use in ears?
Cotton buds aren't recommended for use inside the ear canal. A gentle wipe around the outer ear is fine, but for everything else - makeup, crafts, detail cleaning - they work just as well as conventional buds.

How do I dispose of them?
Both the buds and packaging are home compostable - they can go in your organic waste bin or compost heap. Unlike plastic-stemmed buds, they'll break down completely without leaving anything harmful behind.
