A smooth, golden 6% vintage cider matured into balance, made from homegrown Herefordshire cider apples.

Abrahalls AV completes the trio of Celtic Marches' traditional range. It is crafted from their own Dabinett, Yarlington Mill and Harry Masters orchards, a different blend to the AD and AM, and then given time to mature rather than being bottled young.

That maturing is what you taste. The signature Herefordshire nose is there, along with a delicate tease of tannins and a soft, sweet edge, but the whole thing has been rounded off into something finely balanced and smooth. It feels a little more special than an everyday bottle while staying very easy to drink.

How To Serve

Serve chilled, ideally in a wine glass rather than a pint glass so the apple nose has somewhere to go. This is the one to open when you want the cider to be the point rather than the accompaniment, though it is lovely with roast pork, pate or a board of hard cheeses.

What makes this cider vintage?
It is made from a specific blend of traditional cider apple varieties and then matured before bottling. The time smooths out the rougher edges and gives a more rounded, complex result than a young blend.

How does AV compare to AM and AD?
AD is the dry one and AM is the medium. AV is made from a different apple blend altogether and sits softer and rounder than both, with more depth from the maturing.
