A Burnt Mill and Beak collaboration. Sweet fruit and berries from Simcoe and Krush, with a touch of dank depth underneath.
Burnt Mill invited Beak Brewery over to brew into Bright IPA territory, blending Burnt Mill's West Coast know-how with Beak's take on the bright style. The result is a showcase for Simcoe and Krush.
A super light, clean European Pils malt base and a neutral yeast keep everything out of the way, so the sweet fruit and berry character from the hops leads. A sprinkling of Columbus in the whirlpool rounds it out with a bit of dank depth.
Brewed on a Suffolk farm by Burnt Mill.
Water, barley, wheat, hops, yeast.
Allergens: contains gluten (barley, wheat). Please check the can for full allergen information.
What is a Bright IPA?
A clear IPA rather than a hazy one. The malt base is kept light and clean and the beer is brightened, so the hop character comes through sharply instead of being softened by haze.
Is it bitter like a West Coast IPA?
It leans sweeter and fruitier than a classic West Coast, with the Columbus adding a dank edge rather than a hard bitterness.
Who are Beak?
Beak Brewery, a well regarded independent brewery who came to Burnt Mill for this collaboration.
Is it vegan?
Yes. Burnt Mill state all their beers are vegan friendly, and any bright beers use pea based finings.
