Dry, Provence-style English rosé with strawberry, raspberry and a playful hint of bubblegum.
Giffords Hall's rosé is a blend of Madeleine Angevine and Rondo, with the Rondo giving it that pale pink blush. The 2024 is bright and fruity but still properly dry, and it won a Bronze at the Independent English Wine Awards 2025. Easy to drink and easy to match with food.
Contains sulphites.
Grape: Madeleine Angevine and Rondo
Dietary: Suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Residual sugar under 1g per litre.
What does it taste like?
Fresh strawberries and redcurrants on the nose, then raspberry and peach on the palate, with a soft middle, a light touch of bubblegum and a crisp finish.
What should I eat with it?
Prawns, crab and grilled fish, chicken or pork, and light tomato or vegetable pasta dishes.
How should I serve it?
Chilled.
